    Middletown police investigate attempted abduction

    Police in Middletown, Dauphin County are investigating an attempted abduction.According to officials, a man in his 30s tried to force a female victim into his van in the parking lot of Giant Foods on Saturday afternoon around 12:35 p.m.The suspect drove a blue mini-van, perhaps a Chevrolet or a Pontiac.Anyone with information should contact the Middletown Police Department.     UPDATE: Police arrest suspect in connection to string of robberies

    West Shore Regional Police are on the lookout for the man who robbed a convenience store.Police say he walked into the Turkey Hill on the 400-block of South Third Street in Lemoyne around 11:20 Friday night.Investigators say he told the cashier he had a gun and demanded money.Police say he got some cash and fled onto I-82 North on a motorcycle.Anyone with information should call West Shore Regional Police.     Officer hospitalized after hit-and-run in York

     A police officer is in the hospital following a hit-and-run accident Saturday in York. According to dispatchers, a vehicle crashed into a police cruiser near the corner of S. Penn & W. Princess Streets at around 8:10 p.m.

    Police in Lower Paxton Township are investigating another string of car and home break-ins.According to police, two homes on Wesley Driver were reported broken into.One home had cash from a wallet stolen, and a purse was reportedly rifled through.Police say entry was gained through an unlocked door.The second home did not have anything reported missing, but investigators say entry was gained by using a key which was left in a car parked in the driveway.In addition to these incidents, police s...
