The forecast for Friday is shaping up to be very similar to yesterday as warm air and humidity continue to dominate. For the morning, fog and low clouds will hang around due to the increased moisture in the air. As daytime heating begins to take hold the clouds will break and increasing sunshine is expected for the afternoon. There is enough instability and energy in the atmosphere to spark a few thunderstorms later today, but just as the last two days have proven not everyone will be affected by rain. Many backyards will stay dry, but where the thunderstorms roll through heavy downpours are possible.
Stray storms will be possible right through the weekend, with most of the days being dry. A stalled front provide a better chance for showers and thunderstorms on Saturday, but this will not be an all day washout. Just be sure to monitor the radars if you have outdoor plans, as storms may come and go without much notice. It looks like we finally scour out the humidity by Wednesday of next week.
