Police: Man high on "bath salts" broke into home, jumped on police car

State police said a 31-year-old man, high on "bath salts," broke into a home and jumped onto a marked police vehicle last month.

Police said Seth Sanders of Elizabethtown began to run away from his vehicle on Gravel Hill Road in East Hanover Township, Lebanon County because he thought it was melting and electricity was chasing him.  Police said he then broke into a man's home.

Police said the homeowner chased Sanders, who then broke into a garage.  From there, police said he ran down State Route 22 and jumped onto  the hood of a woman's car.  When police arrived, they said Sanders then jumped onto the hood of a marked cruiser, causing damage to it as well.

Sanders is charged with burglary.  Police said the incident happened around 1:05 a.m. on February 27.
