Over 1,600 Harrisburg residents affected by power outage

WHTM Staff - UPDATE: PP&L says all power has been restored for residents impacted by the outage.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) - PP&L is reporting that just over 1,600 of its customers in Harrisburg are without power.

According to the utility company's website, the power outage is due to "tree limbs on wires" near the area of Agate Street.

Power isn't expected to be restored until 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
