Water Restrictions in Lykens and Wiconisco

The Lykens Borough and the Lykens Water Authority have issued water restrictions for residents due to a drought.
Phase Two Water Restrictions prohibit:
-watering lawns and gardens-noncommercial washing of vehicles and trucks
-washing of streets, driveways, porches, and sidewalks
-use of water for ornamental purpose, including fountains, artificial waterfalls, and reflecting pools
-filling of swimming pools
-all non-essential commercial water use
*Citizens found wasting water will face severe disciplinary action.
