Eric Finkenbinder Eric Finkenbinder

Eric is still living near his hometown of Duncannon where he enjoys most of his time outdoors. His love of science and Mother Nature immediately hooked him into the fascination of weather. Eric can recall many nights before bed he would sit next to his father and listen to the forecasts from the NOAA Weather Radio. His time spent on the family farm showed him the importance of local weather forecasts and how it plays an important role in agriculture.

After graduating from Susquenita High School, Eric pursued the challenges of meteorology at Penn State University. Since earning his B. S. in meteorology in 2003, Eric has spent most of his career at abc27 which happens to be the news station he grew up watching.

This will be Eric's eighth year at abc27 where you can see him during the 5, 6, 7 and 11pm newscasts. You can also see his daily weather updates on the 27.3 Weather Channel and at abc27.com.
