With the holiday party season upon us, and plenty of shopping on the calendar, Chef Sharon Prudhomme of Prudhomme's Lost Cajun Kitchen in Columbia has some ideas for simple, no-fuss eating.
All served on party bread slices:
1 cup softened cream cheese
blend in chopped olives
spread on bread
top with sliced grape tomatoes
1 cup softened cream cheese
blend with 2-3 Tbsp. pepper jelly
spread on bread
cucumber slivers, using carrot peeler
top with chopped fire-roasted red peppers and cucumber slivers
1 cup sour cream
blend with nacho or chipotle seasoning or mix
spread on bread
roast beef, sliced very thin
top with chopped fire-roasted red peppers and roast beef slivers
