Police: Thief stole over $1000 worth of drug store items

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are looking for the thief responsible for stealing three shopping baskets full of goods from a local CVS store.

Police said a man entered the CVS store on South West Street in Carlisle Wednesday afternoon and filled the baskets with Rogaine, Mucinex, Prilosec, and Crest White Strips. He then transferred the items to a dark shopping bag and exited without paying for them.

The total loss of merchandise was estimated at $1,672, police said. The suspect is described as a black male between 40-50 years old who stood between 5'8''-5'10'' and had a medium build.
