Burglar stole store safe in 15 seconds, police say

A burglar smashed out the glass front door of a suburban Harrisburg convenience store early Thursday and stole a safe that was behind the counter, according to police.

Lower Paxton Township police have released surveillance photographs of the crime at the Turkey Hill Minit Market, at 390 N. Houcks Road.

Police said the burglar was dressed in black from head to toe and was in the store for only 15 seconds. The burglary occurred at around 2:20 a.m.

The loss had not yet been determined, but police said there was cash in the safe.
