CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

The Chambersburg community came out this weekend to support an injured volunteer firefighter.

In March, 33-year-old Jason Kuehler suffered burns to more than 80 percent of his body while fighting a mobile home fire in Hamilton Township. He was hospitalized for a month at the Johns Hopkins Burn Center.

On Sunday, the MOMS Club of Chambersburg held a spaghetti dinner at the Franklin Fire Company, where Kuehler volunteers, to help raise money for his trips back and forth to his doctor and therapy in Baltimore, as well as his family's out-of-pocket health insurance costs.

The dinner raised $4,600 for Kuehler and his family.
