Liberty Township police said witnesses reported that Frances Reynolds, of Thurmont, Md., was traveling northbound in the southbound lane near the Emmitsburg Road Exit at around 7:30 a.m. Friday.
Reynolds' Buick Skylark collided head-on with a tractor-trailer before going into the other southbound lane and striking a Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Charles Koontz of Fairfield, police said.
Koontz and Reynolds were flown to York Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The truck driver, Archie Snyder of Maugansville, Md., was treated for minor injuries at Gettysburg Hospital.
Police said the crash remained under investigation. Witnesses or anyone else with information were asked to call (717) 642-6103.
