YORK SPRINGS, Pa. (WHTM) -

Northbound Route 15 was closed for more than two hours in Adams County this morning when a tractor-trailer overturned.

State police said the driver drifted off the highway just south of Wiermans Mill Road in Huntingdon Township, then overcorrected and flipped the truck and trailer on its side.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown through the windshield, police said. He was sent to Gettysburg Hospital for treatment of his injuries. His name was not immediately released.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred at around 8:30 a.m.

The roadway reopened at around 11 a.m.
