EPHRATA, Pa. (WHTM) -
Police have arrested an Ephrata man accused of having sexually explicit Internet conversations with a detective he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
Jeremy Fryburg, 25, also sent pornographic photographs to the detective posing as the girl online, and claimed the photos were of him, according to Lancaster County District Attorney Craig Stedman.
Fryburg was charged with unlawful contact with a minor and criminal attempt to disseminate obscene material and performances to a minor, both third degree felonies carrying a penalty of up to seven years in prison.
He was sent to Lancaster County Prison on $20,000 bail.
Investigators searched Fryburg's home and seized his computer and storage devices. Additional charges may be filed pending a search of the computer.
Stedman said investigators believe Fryburg had similar Internet conversations, but do not believe he had any actual physical contact with minors.
