Dauphin County to close buildings in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Dauphin County Commissioners said they will close county buildings in downtown Harrisburg on Friday.

With the exception of the Safety and Security personnel, commissioners said all staff in the buildings should not report to work.

The buildings are the Dauphin County Courthouse, Dauphin County Adult Probation, all Dauphin County Magisterial District Courts, Administration Building, Human Services Building, Chestnut Street Building, Veterans Building and the Children and Youth Building on 6th Street.

The county offices will reopen at 4:31 p.m. Friday under the "liberal leave" policy.
