Wow...there really is something for everyone happenin' this coming weekend!!

Friday, October 14th:

- For kids - take them trick-or-treating at Hershey's Chocolate World!  The festivities will take place in the main building and includes access to the full park!  Refer to our Community   Calendar page for all information on this event!  www.abc27.eviesays.com.

- For laughs - how about some comedy with Donna Carter at the Comedy Zone in New Cumberland?  She'll be appearing both Friday and Saturday nights this weekend! 

- For a good cause - Downtown Daily Bread, a non-profit organization that works to help feed our local homeless community, is having a "Sharing The Harvest" event from 7-9pm, at the Historic Harrisburg Association.  The fee is $35 and includes wine, appetizers and live music! - For your musical thirst - may I suggest dropping in on a very hip spot called Suba, the upstairs portion of Mangia Qui.  Always offering a very eclectic variety of "live" music, this Friday night is no exception.  Erica Everest, a young, powerhouse of a singer, will be delivering blues and jazz tunes with her deep and sultry vocals.  Worth a drop-in!

Saturday, October 15th:

- For a chance to make a difference - don't miss the American Cancer Society's Making Stride's Against Breast Cancer Walk at City Island, beginning at 8:00am!  This is a huge event helping to raise money to further research a disease that has no doubt touched us all in some way!  All the details can be found on our Community Calendar page www.abc27.eviesays.com.  Take a walk, meet some new friends, and make a difference!

- For you sports fans - it's hockey time!!!  Hershey Bears vs. Norfolk Admirals at the Giants Center in Hershey, beginning at 7:00pm.  Don't worry if you can't catch this particular game....like basketball, hockey season lasts and lasts.....

- To support the arts - The Annual Tres Bonne Annee wine auction event!  This truly is a very impressive event!!  They pull out all the stops on this one!!  Expensive to attend, but you'll be supporting the Whitaker Center and all it has to offer our local community annually.  The event begins at 8:00pm and is being held at the Harrisburg Hilton. 

- For a little live, original music - Stage on Herr is another venue here in Harrisburg that is worth checking out as it offers original music by local and national artists alike!  Jess Klein takes the stage Saturday night with her clean, pop vocal stylings.  For specifics, www.abc27.eviesays.com.
