Ok...I am all for a good laugh so I did a little search and found a place called Kerry's Green Comedy Club in Red Lion, PA.  Every 2nd and 4th Friday (this will require the ability to do math and read a calendar) of every month, Kerry's Green Comedy Club offers up some "grub and a giggle"!!  So, for $35/person, you get dinner, buffet-style and a comedy show!!  For more information call 717-417-1358.

While I'm mentioning the York area, this weekend  is the annual "Yorktoberfest" at the Sovereign Bank Stadium!  Saturday, the 22nd from 12-5 enjoy wine and beer, crafts and "live" bands.  You can purchase passes on various levels and they even have a discounted "designated driver" pass!  I love that!  Now, why don't they have that at Hershey Park??  How about the discounted "Mom who can't ride more than 4 rides or she'll throw up" pass!?  When is that going to be made available??

LANCASTER

Chameleon Club - Friday, October 21st at 8:00pm - Don't miss Ani DiFranco!  This is an amazing songwriter/musician who has been around the musical block a few times in her 18 year career!  She has been recognized not only for her writing and performing talent but for her fervor and fortitude in breaking away from major labels and releasing records on her own for the past 15+ years.  She is truly an inspiration to all!  Wish I myself could attend this show as she is a busy artist and we are lucky to have her in our area.  Tickets are $20 for general admission.  Call 717-299-9684.  Enjoy the show!!

Now...this is ALSO something I wish I could attend because I've never actually seen this "live".....Roller Derby!  Yes, Lancaster has a team called the Dutchland Rollers and they're going up against neighbors, the Dutchland Blitz on Saturday, the 22nd at the Overlook Activities Center.  All the action begins at 5:00!!  I personally, would not want to get in a rink with these women, and my guess is most of you men out there would likely get your butts kicked as well!!  If anyone checks it out, let me know!! 

HERSHEY

Don't miss the "Gazillion Bubble Show" this Friday and Saturday at the Hershey Theatre!  World renowned and Guinness Book of World Records holder, Fan Yang, will you wow you with an amazing theatrical presentation with, of course, bubbles!  Sounds like a most unique experience and one for young and old!  Shows are Friday at 7:00, Saturday at 11:00, 2:30 and 6:00.  Call the Theatre for tickets at 717-534-3405.

If you haven't ever had the chance to check out the AACA (Antique Auto Car Museum) on Rt. 39 in Hershey, you're missing a really cool experience!  And right now they are celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the Indianapolis 500!!  On display are pace car replicas and vintage competition cars as well!  The exhibit "Leading the Pack" runs through October. 

 HARRISBURG

Jazzin' on the Pride takes place every Thursday night, now thru the rest of this month.  This a great thing to do right after work, especially if you work downtown.  The Pride is docked at Locust and Front and you can board from 5:30-7:30 for live jazz music and drinks.  At 7:30 the boat leaves the dock for a short cruise at a $10 fee.  This is also a great place to throw your own private party or wedding!
