There is soooo much going around the area, it's unbelievable! I remember as a kid saying to my Mom, "There's nothing to do." We can never say that as adults. When do we even have time to say that!?? I WISH I had "nothing to do." If you have some free time this weekend, there is plenty to do and I am only touching a tip of the ole iceberg as they say!
"Hairspray" - the musical, is in full swing at the Fulton Theatre in Lancaster! Such a fun production! I saw the movie and just loved it! For tickets and showtimes, call 717-397-7425.
Christmas at Ft. Hunter Park - N. Front Street, Harrisburg, from 12-/1 thru 12/7 10am-4:30pm, take a guided tour of the Mansion at Ft. Hunter. It's got a lot of history and is in a beautiful setting along the Susquehanna River and is all "dressed up" for the holidays. Tickets are only $5/adult, $4/senior and $3/student!
Harrisburg Street Band "No Last Call", a fabulous group of various horn players who have a habit of showing up just about anywhere, at any time, will appear in the Palmyra Christmas Parade this Saturday, December 3. Starts at 3:30.
"Art For The Holidays" - Check out the creations by local artists at the Carlisle Arts Learning Center through 12/5. For more information call 717-249-6973.
"A Christmas Carol" - is being presented by the folks at Dreamwrights in York through 12/7. Tickets are $8/person. The address there is 100 Carlisle Ave.
Gettysburg Festival's 2nd Annual Gingerbread House Celebration - going on from 12/1 - 12/3 at the Adams County Arts Center. For all the scoop call 717-334-0853.
Toys for Tots Benefit Parade AND Tree Lighting - is taking place on Saturday, 12/3 in Camp Hill starting at 24th and Market at 4:00pm. Following the parade there will be caroling by the Camp Hill High Cheer Ensemble (and of course, ALL are encouraged to sing along!). Please bring a new toy to the event to donate!
Holiday Fine Art & Craft Show - this sounds neat, as it is in a BARN setting, hosted by the Art Center School in Mechanicsburg from 11am-4pm. For information and directions call 717-697-2072.
