The older I get, the more confused I become, about too many things to even begin to mention!! So I will focus on one issue that affects my immediate daily existence. This has to do with one of my kids, in her first year of high school. Now, this school has an "ok to have your cell phone in class" policy. In fact, the kids can even have it ON during class! So, given that privilege and that "age", it shouldn't be any surprise that the kids don't use their better judgement and stay off the phone while doing their work and inevitably the teacher has to remove the phone from their possession. Now, if you have a teen, that's like ripping an appendage from their body!!! Why on earth let them even have their phones out and on in class if the end result is taking their phone away from them???
QUESTION OF THE WEEK:
Should high school kids be able to have their phones out and on during class time on any given school day?????
