William A. Bohonyi, M.D. is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has been practicing in Cumberland County for over 20 years providing health care to women from pediatric through geriatric life. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery using the DaVinci robotic system, infertility evaluation and treatments, normal and high risk pregnancy, and family planning. He has privileges at the West Shore Surgery Center, Holy Spirit Hospital, and Harrisburg Hospital.
Dr. Bohonyi earned his medical degree at Hahnemann Medical College. He completed his residency training at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Navy as an OB/GYN for four years. Following his service in the US Navy, Dr. Bohonyi began to practice in Central Pennsylvania in 1990. He is a former Associate Clinical Professor for the Milton S. Hershey School of Medicine. Dr. Bohonyi actively participates in the education of medical students through the Penn State College of Medicine. He also provides women's healthcare for the medically underserved through Pinnacle Health Medical Services, a Pennsylvania nonprofit organization.
