Harrisburg Mayor Linda Thompson said she is paid up on her city property that was facing foreclosure.
Last week, abc27 reported that Thompson was behind on the mortgage payments for the headquarters of her former non-profit, Loveship. Metro Bank had even started foreclosure proceedings.
Thompson also owed more than $1,600 in real estate taxes.
"The mayor is fully caught up on all personal payments," her office said in a statement Wednesday. "There will be no foreclosure and she has made her final tax payment for the year. This is a personal matter and has no bearing on the Office of the Mayor."
