LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Lancaster County man has admitted to charges he killed a customer during a test-drive while employed as a car salesman.

Michael Hershey, 49, of Landisville, pleaded guilty Tuesday to homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence, and two counts of reckless endangerment.

He faces up to 14 years in prison and a $30,000 fine. A sentencing hearing was scheduled to March 16.

Authorities have said Hershey tested positive for marijuana use and had a blood-alcohol content of .06 percent following the crash on December 20, 2010.

Police said he was also speeding when he struck an embankment in the 1800 block of S. Colebrook Road in East Hempfield Township, causing the vehicle to roll several times.

A passenger, 48-year-old Jon Jensen, was killed when he and Hershey were ejected from the vehicle. A second passenger was seriously injured.
