HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
A store clerk was hit on the side of the head with a large rock during a robbery in Harrisburg Thursday, according to police.
City police said a second robber confronted a woman working behind the counter of the Corner Store, at 26 N. 19th Street, and yelled for her to give him money as he grabbed for the register.
The robbers got away with money and cigarettes shortly after 11 a.m.
The clerk hit with the rock suffered a contusion, but police said he refused medical treatment.
The robbers were said to be black males in their early 20s; one about 5'4" tall and thin, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt; the other about 5'7" tall and thin, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
Both robbers had their faces partially covered by their hoods pulled tight, police said.
