2 arrested in connection with attempted homicide

Police have arrested two suspects in connection with an attempted homicide case that happened last week in Littlestown.

Robert Linton Mellema of Westminster, MD, and Hattie Miller of Taneytown, MD, have been accused in the Jan. 30 attempted homicide at Hunter's Inn Bar. Police said the victim, James Hull of Hanover, PA, was found unresponsive and suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Authorities said Linton was arrested in Maryland after a seven-hour standoff with police. He is being held at Maryland's Carroll County Detention Center and awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

Miller is being held at Adams County Prison. Both face charges that include criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and simple assault.
