MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Hundreds of people were forced to leave the Mid-Penn Championship in boys basketball before the game could end Thursday night, but it's highly unlikely that anyone is complaining about missing the show.

Central Dauphin's Devin Thomas brought down the house and the backboard at Cumberland Valley High School with an alley-oop slam dunk that shattered the glass late in the third quarter.

The game was suspended until Friday night at 7 p.m. with Central Dauphin leading Greencastle-Antrim, 39-30.

"It's not the first time he's done it," CD Coach Jay Crosier said after the game. "It was a solid dunk. I mean, it happens."

Thomas, a 6'8" senior and one of the top players in the area, has committed to Wake Forest.

"He put down a big slam," Greencastle coach Gary Marlin said, "To his credit, it was a very nice bucket."

abc27 will air the game when it resumes Friday on 27.3, Comcast 245, Verizon 461, Blue Ridge 226 and Kuhn 69.
