Web Producer

WHTM-TV is seeking a Web Producer whose primary responsibility is to independently organize compelling content for publication on Station's website.  Responsible for writing clear, concise content on various subjects including news, events and special projects.  Duties include, but are not limited to, digitizing video content for website, monitoring website and maintaining quality control.  This position may also be assigned other newsroom duties including handling a camera.  Experience with television or other broadcasting entity preferred, but not required.  Freelance, internship, web authoring tools experience are a plus.  Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

College degree in Journalism or relevant education/training desired.  Relevant work experience may be substituted for education requirement.  One year demonstrated Internet publication experience preferred.  Available to work flexible/irregular hours to include nights, holidays and weekends to meet needs of web publishing deadlines.
