Harrisburg police investigating shooting death

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A 45-year-old Harrisburg man was shot to death during a heated argument with another man inside a Thompson Street home Monday night, according to city police.

Police said Matthew Harrell was dead when officers arrived at the home in the 1400 block of Thompson at 11:30 p.m.

Officials Harrell suffered several gunshot wounds, and did not live at the Thompson Street home.

Police said the suspect had fled the home before they arrived.

He was not identified, but police said witnesses know him by his nickname.
