Woman wanted in Mount Holly Springs bank robbery

Posted: Updated:
MOUNT HOLLY SPRINGS, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are looking for the woman who robbed a Cumberland County bank.

Mount Holly Springs police said the woman was wearing sunglasses and a hooded sweatshirt when she passed a note stating "this is a robbery" to a teller at the PNC Bank branch at 2 W. Pine Street at around 9:40 a.m. Wednesday.

No weapon was shown and no bank employees were injured.

Police said the woman was seen outside the bank for a time before she entered, and may have been waiting for customers to leave so she could be alone with the tellers.

She may have escaped in a gray Chrysler minivan, police said.

Police said she was described as being in her 20's, about 5'7" tall and between 100–110 pounds, with a slender build and dark blonde hair.

She was wearing a maroon "Tony Hawk" hooded sweatshirt over a dark blue hooded sweatshirt pulled around her face, along with jeans and white sneakers with blue trim.

Anyone with information may call 486-7615.
