CD East student facing charges in office scuffle

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police said they arrested an 18-year-old student at Central Dauphin East High School after he scuffled with two administrators and a school resource officer.

Justis Durant was facing with three counts of aggravated assault, plus one count each of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, according to Lower Paxton Township police.

Police said the resource officer was called to the office Wednesday afternoon to assist the administrators with Durant, who was being unruly, when the scuffle ensued.

The officer was treated at a local hospital for a hand injury.

The administrators were not injured.
