CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

Two Carlisle women have been charged in burglaries at three borough businesses over the weekend.

Jamie Bowers, 31, and Dezerea Whistler, 23, admitted to the incidents at Miseno's II restaurant, the ND Deli, and the 50's Malt Shoppe, according to Carlisle police.

All of the burglaries occurred during the early morning hours of Saturday.

At Miseno's II restaurant, police said the burglars threw a large rock through a window and took money from the cash registers.

Bowers and Whistler were being held in Cumberland County Prison on $15,000 cash bail.

Police have also charged the pair with stealing a woman's purse and using the victim credit card at three local businesses.

They said the two made more than $2,700 in purchases before the card was invalidated by the credit card company.

Whistler is additionally charged with stealing 13 sterling silver necklaces, valued at $369, from a local business. The necklaces have been recovered.
