Boil water advisory issued for some Susquehanna Township homes

Posted: Updated:
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A boil water advisory has been issued for some residents of Susquehanna Township due to a water valve break and a leak in a service line, the City of Harrisburg Bureau of Water said Wednesday.

The advisory was issued for township residents from 401 to 424 S. 32nd Street, 3113 to 3121 Paul Drive, and 408 Larry Drive.

Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth and food preparation until further notice.

The bureau will inform affected residents when the break is repaired and the advisory is lifted.
