LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police investigating a rash of tire slashing incidents in Lancaster have released new surveillance photographs of a suspect in similar crimes.

Lancaster police Lt. Todd Umstead said the photos were taken in the northeast area of the city during the early morning hours of April 21, specifically the 700 block of Burrowes Avenue, where tires were slashed on six vehicles.

Umstead said it is unknown whether the incidents are related to any of those in the northwest area of the city, where police are investigating more than 40 incidents of slashed tires.

Police have released surveillance photographs and video, taken April 22 in the 400 block of N. Mulberry Street, that shows two young men authorities are seeking in those crimes.

Anyone who can identify the young man in the photos may call police at 735-3300 or Lancaster City/County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-322-1913.
