HANOVER, Pa. (WHTM) -

A man has been arrested in connection with a burglary on April 4th, according to police.

West York Borough police said Lance E. Lewis, 32, stole items from his neighbors apartment located on South Highland Avenue.

The neighbor said he was out of town when the items were taken which include, a large sum of cash, a flat screened TV, DVD player and tires mounted onto custom chrome wheels. The combined value was a couple thousand dollars, police said.

During the course of this investigation the investigating officer was able to acquire further evidence and then obtained an arrest warrant for Lewis.

On Tuesday police went to Lewis's apartment and attempted to locate him. Police said his girlfriend lied to them that he was not in the apartment.

Police found Lewis in the apartment, and arrested him.

Lewis is charged with felony counts of burglary, theft and receiving stolen property.

His girlfriend Karen T. Sipe, 32, who lied to police, was charged with hindering apprehension, a felony of the first degree.
