Corbett issues flag order to honor Navy diver

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Governor Tom Corbett has ordered all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in Perry County to fly at half-staff on Thursday to honor U.S. Navy Diver 3rd Class Ryan M. Bennett.

Bennett, 20, died May 19 while snorkeling in Guam. He was assigned to the USS Frank Cable.

Bennett's funeral is scheduled for Thursday in Marysville, his hometown.

The cause of his death remains under investigation.
