Severe thunderstorms rolled through early Friday morning causing major damage in the Derry Township area.
Around 4 p.m., Derry Township police said downtown Hershey has been cleared and roads are passable. They said no main roads remain closed.
At points throughout the night and morning, over 4,000 PPL customers were without power in Dauphin County according to the PPL Outage Center. By Friday afternoon, this number was down to 440.
There are several trees down around Hotel Hershey.
