Hanover police are looking for the man who robbed a PNC Bank branch in the 800 block of Carlisle Street.
Police said the robber stood in the lobby until he was waited on by a bank employee Monday afternoon, then gave the staff member a note announcing the robbery. He did not display any weapons.
The employee complied with the demand and suspect left with an undetermined amount of money, police said. No one was harmed during the incident.
The suspect was described as a black man with a light complexion, 5'10" to 6'0" tall, 190-200 pounds, with a slender, athletic build, and dark hair pulled up under a green baseball hat. His hair formed a bulky pony-tail at the back of the cap, police said.
He also had a light beard and a heavier mustache, and was wearing a green "Relay for Life" T-shirt and blue jeans that were torn at both front pockets, police said.
