HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Dauphin County man is facing a long list of new charges as the result of a police chase from Steelton to Middletown last month when he struck and fatally injured a motorcyclist.

Steven Henderson Jr., 26, of Steelton, was charged Monday with third-degree murder, homicide by vehicle, homicide by vehicle while DUI, and 14 related crimes and offenses, according to Swatara Township police.

He was sent to Dauphin County Prison and his bail, which had been set at $250,000, was revoked.

Police have said Henderson struck a pedestrian in Steelton on the afternoon of Sunday, June 3 and then led police on a chase into Highspire and Middletown, where he lost control at the intersection of Main and Union streets and crashed into three other vehicles, including a motorcycle operated by Gregg Kisic, of Highspire.

Kisic died of his injuries June 23. The new charges are the result of his death, police said.

No one in the other vehicles was injured.

In addition to the mentioned charges, Henderson also faces counts including DUI, accidents involving death or personal injury, accidents involving death or personal injury while not properly licensed, fleeing and eluding, aggravated assault by vehicle, simple assault, reckless endangerment, and various traffic offenses.

According to court documents, Henderson had been released from Dauphin County Prison just weeks before the crash. He had pleaded guilty to 2009 charges of fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, and driving with a suspended license.
