CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -
A Carlisle woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after she crashed her car into electronic appliance business Thursday afternoon, according to police.
Carlisle police said 30-year-old Michelle Schlusser smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage after she slammed into Gali Appliances at 19 W. Willow Street shortly before 4 p.m.
The collision caused enough damage that the building was condemned by borough codes, police said.
Witnesses reported that they thought Schlusser hit the gas pedal instead of the brake before she ran into the shop, according to police.
No one was injured.
Schlusser's car and another vehicle were towed from the scene.
