LEMOYNE, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police said they have arrested a Carlisle man and plan to file charges against his wife for a burglary at a Lemoyne church.

Charles Terrence Williams, 43, was charged Monday with one count of burglary and sent to Cumberland County Prison on $100,000 bail, according to West Shore Regional police.

His wife, 31-year-old Somer Maria Williams, will be charged Tuesday with receiving stolen property, police said.

Authorities accuse Charles Williams of breaking into the office of the Calvary United Methodist Church, at 700 Market Street, during the first week of July and stealing gift cards meant for people in need.

Somer Williams used the gift cards at the Giant food store in Carlisle, according to police.

Police last week released surveillance photographs from the store. Somer Williams was identified as the woman in the photos and it was later determined that Charles Williams is the person who broke into the church office, police said.
