MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A police search Tuesday was not the first time officers were at the home of a Mechanicsburg area woman who has been missing for more than three months.

abc27 News has learned that officers responded to the Silver Spring Township home last August after Rabihan Seiders called 911 to report an active domestic fight with her husband, Hap Seiders, who was later charged with assault.

According to court documents, 53-year-old Rabihan Seiders was "distraught and crying" and told officers she had been fighting with her husband about finances. She said he "stood up from his seat, stood over her while she was seated in a chair, and struck her repeatedly in the head with a closed fist."

Responding officers found "a contusion consistent with a blow to the head," the court papers state.

Hap Seiders pleaded guilty to the assault December 20 and was sentenced in April, a month after his wife went missing.

Rabihan Seiders was last seen on the evening of March 27. Township police and FBI agents searched her home in the 100 block of Willow Mill Park Road on Tuesday and seized several items.

"We will submit at least some of the items that were seized yesterday to the lab," Police Superintendent Richard Hammon said.

Police say they now believe Rabihan Seiders may have met with foul play. Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call Silver Spring Township police at 591-8250.
