Family of missing Palmyra woman holds vigil

PALMYRA, Pa. (WHTM) -

Hundreds gathered near the Palmyra Municipal Building Thursday evening for a candlelight vigil.  The group formed a giant circle, cried and listened to some of Kortne Stouffer's favorite songs.

"Somebody might see her, might bring a lead that can get the detectives closer to her," said her father Scott Stouffer.

Kortne's family is now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts.

Kortne's family said she is close with them and would not just pick up and leave.  They said it's extremely unusual that they haven't heard from her for five days.

Lebanon County District Attorney Dave Arnold said Kortne's disappearance is suspicious.  He said several of her personal belongings were found in her apartment.

Police said Kortne was last seen early Sunday at her apartment on 800 block of West Main Street. Her mother said she had recently returned from dancing at clubs in Harrisburg.
