The Franklin County man charged with killing three people in Quincy Township on July 20th is now back in Franklin County after being in Ohio.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Department, Kevin Cleeves will be booked at the Franklin County Jail before he is arraigned.
Monday, abc27 News learned more information about the relationship between Cleeves and his estranged wife Brandi.
Paperwork filed just the week before her murder outlines a relationship in which she told her lawyer she feared for her life.
According to court documents, Brandi and Kevin Cleeves separated on June 17th. July 6th, Kevin Cleeves filed a Complaint for Custody of their 4-year-old daughter Leia.
On July 11th, Brandi filed an answer to that complaint, and just a little more than a week later, she, her boyfriend, and her boyfriend's mother were killed.
In the court documents, Brandi's lawyer wrote that Brandi "feared for her safety" and that Cleeves had "threatened her life". According to the paperwork, Cleeves, who had a permit to carry, had often brought and held a gun during custody arguments.
Officials say Cleeves will be arraigned, and then a date for a preliminary hearing will be set. District Attorney Matt Fogal has said, if he can, he will seek the death penalty in this case.
