Jonathan BellA Berks County high school teacher and swimming coach was arrested
following allegations of having sex with a student, according to the
state attorney general's office.
Jonathan Bell, 31, is a teacher with the Exeter School District and swimming coach for Governor Mifflin High School. Bell was arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student from December 2010 to June 2012, according to the criminal complaint.
The charges state that Bell allegedly solicited the girl for nude photographs, performed a sexually graphic act for her on video and had at least one sexual encounter with her on school property.
Bell is charged with two counts of unlawful contact with a minor, one count of corruption of minors and one count of criminal solicitation, according to the Berks County District Attorney's Office.
Bell is being held on $200,000 bail.
