No one was injured when a piece of heavy construction equipment toppled into a hole at a work site in Cumberland County this morning.
PennDOT spokesman Greg Penny said workers were replacing pipe at the intersection of S. Market Street and Cumberland Parkway in Upper Allen Township when the equipment got too close to the ditch, which is about five feet deep.
Penny said a wrecker would remove the equipment from the hole.
He said the accident was not affecting traffic in the area.
