Mary Bonebrake
Angalena Robinson
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
A Franklin County woman will spend 3-6 years in prison for a crash that killed a Waynesboro teenager two years ago.
Mary Bonebrake, 55, of Mont Alto, received her sentence Thursday. She had pleaded guilty in June to second-degree felony counts of homicide by vehicle while DUI and aggravated assault while DUI.
Authorities have said Bonebrake was under the influence of a "cocktail of prescription drugs" that made her incapable of driving July 29, 2010, when she crashed head-on into another car on Tomstown Road in Quincy Township.
A passenger in the car hit by Bonebrake, 16-year-old Angalena Robinson of Waynesboro, died at the scene.
Bonebrake was flown by helicopter to York Hospital following the crash. According to court documents, she told police she woke up in the hospital with no memory of anything that had happened.
