HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
The Liquor Control Board has voluntarily recalled some bottles of 1800 Tequila due to the possible presence of glass particles.
They believe a small percentage of bottles of 1.75 liter Silver, Rsposado and Coconut 1800 Tequila may have been affected. The recall is exclusive to this size and flavor.
There have been no reported injuries but customers should not consume the alcohol in these bottles. To see if your bottle was potentially affected, compare the first nine digits of the 13-digit Lot Code on the side of your bottle against the list of impacted product codes pictured to the right.
According to information provided by the brand owner, Agavera Camichines, S.A. de C.V., potential damage to glass stoppers in the bottle during transportation and handling may have caused to glass to enter the bottles.
Customers who have purchased one of the products may return the bottle to any Fine Wine & Good Spirits store for a refund or call Agavera Camichines, S.A. de C.V. for more information at 866-795-8805 or via email at info@1800tequila.com.
