HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Harrisburg police have arrested a city teen wanted for attempted homicide and other charges.

Derrick Tisinger, 17, of the 2600 block of Jefferson Street, surrendered Thursday, according to police.

Police said Tisinger was the primary shooter during an incident Monday evening in the area of N. 6th and Seneca streets, where two groups of young men were involved in a disturbance and at least two people were shooting at each other.

No one was reported injured.

Tisinger hid his handgun as officers responded, but the firearm was recovered and had been reported stolen, police said.

In addition to attempted homicide, Tisinger has been charged as an adult with counts of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, receiving stolen property, and firearms violations.
