HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
A Harrisburg murder suspect has died, according to police.
Forty-six-year-old Odessa Sheppard was locked up in the Dauphin County Prison, accused of stabbing two women and killing one of them, police said.
On Friday night Sheppard died at Harrisburg Hospital from a hemorrhage caused by hypertension.
Police said Sheppard was involved in a fight involving several women and stabbed two of them August 13th in the 1200 block of S. 13th Street.
Thirty-year-old Starr Eubanks, a mother of three, was taken to Harrisburg Hospital where she died of stab wounds of the neck and shoulder.
Eubanks' 51-year-old mother was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center with stab wounds to her back and was listed in stable condition. She was able to identify Sheppard as the attacker, police said.
