York man arrested for Shrewsbury bank robbery

SHREWSBURY, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police have arrested a York man suspected of robbing a bank in Shrewsbury on Thursday afternoon.

Luis Rafael Cruz, 32, is charged in the robbery of the Sovereign Bank on Mt. Airy Road at 2 p.m., according to Southern Regional police.

Cruz was taken into custody Friday when he surrendered to police.

Investigators earlier in the day had released his photograph to news organizations.
