Police: man fired shots near Steelton-Highspire High School

STEELTON, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are looking for a man who fired at least 12 rounds from an assault rifle near Steelton-Highspire High School, according to Swatara Township police.

Lance Lawson, 24, from Harrisburg is accused of firing shots on the 200 block of Reynders Avenue on Saturday around 12:45 p.m.

Lawson is accused of shooting at a man who was crossing the sports field in front of the school, according to police.

Police said the incident was domestic related and two firearms were recovered by officers at the scene.

No one was injured in the shooting.

A warrant has been issued for Lawson's arrest. He faces several charges, including aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and bringing a weapon on school property.
