A York County man was arrested for stealing from vehicles after witnesses chased him, caught him, and held him until officers arrived.

Nineteen-year-old Jeremy Todd Wildasin, of Conewago Township, was taken into custody early Sunday at  the intersection of Dietz Estates Drive and Graffius Road, according to Northern York County Regional police.

Police said Wildasin entered at least seven vehicles along Dietz Estates Drive and New Court. His pants pockets were full of items that had been taken from nearby vehicles, including GPS units, portable music players, sunglasses, jewelry and money, authorities said.
